My favorite animal

The snake 

The snakes are reptiles without extremities, long body, with variable weight and size, their skin is covered with scales, a skeleton that gives them a lot of flexibility and a forked tongue.

All species are carnivores. Ones kill their prey with constriction, other by venom that transfers by bite.  The snakes can't chew, so they swallow their food whole (this capacity, it is because they don't have a sternum). Their preys are birds, amphibians, mammals, fish, invertebrates, and even other snakes in certain species.

The habitat of all snakes is very varied. Some of them are located in very dry environments (rattlesnake), others go deep into humid jungles (like anacondas). They also exist in shallow waters near the coast, and more.


                                          

They face the destruction of green areas for urban development, hunting to get their skin and use it as textile material, also because they are poorly valued, and misunderstood, since for many snakes are a meaning of danger and death, They only attack when they feel threatened.

I like them, because in the chinese traditional culture they symbolize luck, authority, love, happiness, fortune and longevity, besides in the chinese horoscope i'm metal snake. For me they are diversity  and adaptability to new thing.

    Woow! is the first person I've seen who likes snakes, I only like the variety of colors they have, some are very beautiful, but in case they give me a lot of nerve, besides I'm afraid of them.

  The Guitar My Guitar (really  are 2 jaja) In 2008 my parents gave me my firts guitar, that was 3/4 ( i mean, it was small), they gave me that because my sister play the guitar, so they thought maybe i wanted learn too. In 2014 my parents gave me my guitar 4/4, her name is Alma ( i don´t know why, but i liked this name). It's played doing chords (weird positions with the fingers) with the left hand (right if you're  left handed), and with the right hand strums the strings. Now i play guitar sometimes, because i'm so busy with the university,  i lost practice, and my level it's not what it was, when i was in the Liceo i played so much because i was in a music club, and us group it was named "Los duraznitos cosmicos" ( it was my fault, I should never have let Matias speak).     𝅗 What is your opinion about having an exotic pet at home? I don’t have any problems about with having an exotic pet at home as long as as long as the required care is taken, also the pet is legally obtained, and it’s not  part of an endangered species, that is, animals that are contemplated by law for responsible ownership.   𝅗 What is your opinion about cloning?   I think the cloning it’s a big cientific advance, can help the animals in danger extinction, through the birth of babies, as long as the tissu is from the baby or a young individual, and avoid the early death of individuals. MY FAVORITE SUBJECT

  Histology  I print the Powerpoint of the class and i write all that the teacher says, trying to keep my notes in order and with a lot of color (without color it's so bored). When the presentation has images I try to identify its parts and i write its corresponding names. I complement the class with the Histology book by Ross. The main contents i have seen : 1. Embryonic development    2. Epithelial tissue 3. Glandular epithelial tissue 4. Connective tissue 5. Ectoderm derivatives 6. Nervous tissue 7. Cartilage 8. Bone 9. Muscle 10. Visceral lateral mesoderm I like it because for me it's fun and an easy subject. I love biology, it is almost only biology. I also like it because the histological samples are very colorful, beautiful and very clear to see. It's a very interesting subject because it shows how organisms works at the microscopic level and gives way to pathology.
